As of January 1, 2024, the Rensselaer Land Trust has merged with the Rensselaer Plateau Alliance. These lands drain into small streams which flow directly into the Hudson River between the mouth of the Poesten Kill in Troy and the mouth of Mill Creek in Rensselaer.
The Rensselaer Technology Park is in this watershed, and has an extensive network of trails, a wide variety of spring wildflowers and other plants, and a series of tall cascades flowing down tall ravines.
